ACE seizes multi-million rupees assets from Sialkot ADCR

LAHORE (Web Desk): The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has confiscated significant assets from a senior government official amid an ongoing probe into allegations of bribery and abuse of power.

 Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), has recovered substantial assets from Muhammad Iqbal, son of Ahmed Masood, who is currently serving as the Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) in Sialkot.

A local judge in the case gave ACE a four-day extension in Iqbal s physical remand so that more investigation could be conducted.

Two days earlier, the court had issued a four-day physical remand, an ACE representative said. On July 31, 2025, FIR No. 46/2025 was filed in accordance with Sections 161 and 162 of the Pakistan Penal Code. On August 1, 2025, the accused was taken into custody and initially held on physical remand for five days.

A Land Cruiser (ARE-054) that had allegedly been stolen from a complainant for personal use was found by investigators on August 2. Additional recoveries on August 6 included the original ownership documents of two commercial plots (39 and 40, CA area), cash reportedly obtained as bribes, and a luxurious item Rolex watch.

Additionally, the police seized Rs49.15 million suspected of corruption and Rs6.825 million purportedly obtained for the purchase of a home in DHA.

Some recoveries have been accomplished, according to an ACE official, and more investigations are required to locate and retrieve the remaining assets. The accused appeared in court and asked for his physical remand to be extended so that the investigation could be finished.
