
British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Jane Marriott, has expressed her admiration for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) after traveling from Karachi to Islamabad via the national carrier. She shared a video of her journey on social media, calling it a pleasant experience.

In her message, the British envoy added that she is looking forward to flying directly to Manchester with PIA in the near future.

Due to her personal interest in aviation, Jane Marriott was also invited into the cockpit, where she received a briefing from the flight captain. To honor her visit and continued support, PIA CEO presented her with a captain’s cap, symbolically making her an honorary aviator.
The British High Commissioner conveyed her best wishes for PIA and expressed hope for the airline’s successful future.
PIA’s CEO also commended Jane Marriott for her tireless efforts in supporting the restoration of direct flights between Pakistan and the UK, acknowledging her valuable role in strengthening aviation ties between the two nations.
