According to details, Qureshi has sent a message from Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore, to the PTI founding chairman, urging that the decision to boycott the by-polls should be reviewed.
He stated that leaving the political field vacant would be a mistake and that the party should participate in the by-elections despite political victimization and oppression.
Qureshi maintains that contesting the elections is the only way to demonstrate the party’s political strength and further strengthen public support for PTI.

He also emphasized the need to continue political activities to pressure opponents into withdrawing from the field.
Party sources revealed that Qureshi has instructed lawyers to convey his message to Imran Khan so that the party leadership can be fully informed of his stance.
This development comes at a time when PTI has already decided to boycott the upcoming by-elections in Pakistan. Qureshi’s request for reconsideration signals a possible shift in the party’s political strategy.
Further discussion and consultation within PTI on the matter are expected, which could significantly influence the country’s future political landscape.
