Pakistan’s security forces carried out major intelligence-based operations in Balochistan’s Hernai and Panjgur districts, eliminating 41 Indian-backed terrorists and uncovering large caches of weapons and explosives.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation in Hernai was launched after intelligence reports confirmed the presence of terrorists affiliated with India’s “Fitna-e-Hindustan” network. A heavy exchange of fire occurred during the operation, resulting in the death of 30 terrorists. Authorities also recovered a significant amount of ammunition and explosive material, which was destroyed at the site.
In Panjgur, a separate operation led to the killing of 11 Indian-sponsored terrorists. The Panjgur operation uncovered a secret terrorist hideout and recovered weapons, ammunition, and the loot from a December 15, 2025 bank robbery. The killed terrorists were reportedly involved in multiple past terror activities.
The ISPR stated that clearance and sanitization operations are ongoing in the region to eliminate remaining terrorist threats. Security forces emphasized that operations against anti-Pakistan elements will continue without pause under the “Azm-e-Istiqamat” initiative, ensuring full implementation of the National Action Plan for counter-terrorism.
