The Punjab government has announced the recruitment of 500 sergeants and drivers for the Para Force, with separate quotas allocated for each district to ensure fair representation.
The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) will oversee the recruitment for these Grade-7 positions, specifically targeting sergeant drivers. The move is aimed at strengthening the Para Force and addressing manpower requirements across the province.
Candidates applying for the positions must meet the age requirement of 18 to 25 years and have completed Intermediate education. In addition, a valid Light Transport Vehicle (LTV) driving license is mandatory for all applicants.
To ensure capable and fit recruits, candidates will be required to pass both physical and driving tests during the selection process. This step aims to maintain high standards of performance and readiness in the Para Force.
Applications for the recruitment will be accepted online through the National Application Service portal. The last date for submission of applications is set for January 15, 2026. Interested candidates are advised to complete their applications well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
