Fresh developments in the ongoing Iran US negotiations suggest that an Iranian delegation is expected to arrive in Islamabad on Tuesday, according to reports by CNN citing Iranian sources.
The report indicates that the visiting Iranian negotiation team will include members who participated in the initial phase of talks, ensuring continuity in diplomatic engagement between Iran and the United States. Officials involved in the process reportedly expect a symbolic joint announcement on Wednesday regarding a possible extension of the ceasefire.

Sources further revealed that if discussions proceed smoothly and Donald Trump agrees to visit Pakistan, the Iranian President may also travel to Islamabad. In such a scenario, a high-level meeting between the two leaders is anticipated, followed by the signing of a joint declaration.
However, the report also noted that Iran has not yet officially confirmed the dispatch of any delegation, leaving room for uncertainty around the visit.
Earlier, Donald Trump stated that American representatives are already heading to Islamabad for negotiations, signaling growing diplomatic activity centered in Pakistan.
Analysts believe Pakistan’s potential role as a host for these talks could mark a significant moment in regional diplomacy, particularly if it leads to progress in easing tensions between Tehran and Washington.
