RAWALPINDI (Web Desk): Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has rejected the Afghan Taliban government's allegation of allowing the United States (US) to carry out drones attacks in Afghanistan.

During a closed-door briefing to senior journalists, the DG ISPR said, "This allegation is false." Lt Gen Chaudhry added that Pakistan has not allowed the US to launch attacks on Afghanistan from its soil.

He revealed that India is preparing another “false flag operation” in deep waters. He said Pakistan is fully alert and ready to respond to any Indian move with greater force than before.

Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that any decision regarding the “Gaza Peace Force” will be made by the government and parliament. He said Pakistan is fully capable of defending its borders and people, and it remains an independent country in making its own policies.

The DG ISPR shared that 62,113 operations were conducted this year, in which 582 soldiers were martyred. Meanwhile, 1,667 terrorists were killed in the fight against “Fitna al-Khawarij”. Most of these operations took place in Balochistan. He added that during recent Pakistan-Afghanistan tensions, 206 Afghan Taliban and 112 militants were neutralized.

He said Afghanistan’s conditions do not hold meaning for Pakistan because ending terrorism is the real goal. He also revealed that drug smugglers are deeply involved in Afghan politics, and large amounts of narcotics are being smuggled from Afghanistan into Pakistan. These criminal and militant networks are blocking efforts to curb smuggling and crime in the region.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif said that terrorists are collecting illegal taxes in the name of “Ushr”, and that TTP has pledged allegiance to the Afghan Taliban’s leader, becoming their branch. He warned that anyone feeling affection for Afghanistan should move there instead.

The DG ISPR further clarified that Pakistan’s response to Afghanistan has been “swift and precise”. He said Pakistan has one clear agenda: Afghan soil must not be used against Pakistan. He called the claims that American drones attacked Afghanistan using Pakistani airspace “false”, confirming that Pakistan never allowed the US to use its territory for such operations.

He emphasized that India is once again preparing for a “false flag operation” in the deep sea, but Pakistan’s forces are already aware and remain fully alert. “India can act by land, sea, or air – but this time, our response will be stronger than ever,” he warned.

Answering a question, DG ISPR said that any decision regarding governor’s rule rests with the government. “The Army does not wish to be involved in politics. It must be kept away from political matters,” he concluded.
