 
                                In this session DG ISPR briefed about engaging in deliberations on salient national issues including security, Pak-Afghan relations, and the fight against terrorism and Fitna al-Khawarij.
The function was attended by a sizeable number of university students, faculty, and staff with the aim of raising awareness about the security landscape of Pakistan and the collective responsibility of its citizens in maintaining peace and stability.
Speaking on the occasion, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said Pakistan has taken strong and effective steps to combat terrorism and the extremist ideology of Fitna al-Khawarij. He reiterated that the Pakistan Army is steadfast to defend the homeland, saying that any form of external aggression will be met with a firm and decisive response.
He said, “The Pakistan Army is fully committed to defending the sovereignty of the country. Any challenge to national integrity will be dealt with strongly.”
Teachers and students attending the event praised the Pakistan Army for its sacrifices and invaluable role in maintaining peace and unity. The Vice Chancellor of Hazara University, Dr. Ikramullah Khan, praised the armed forces as a "true symbol of devotion to the nation."

Faculty members reiterated the significance of countering misinformation targeting the youth, emphasizing the importance of sharing factual and reliable information.
Students shared that the session cleared misconceptions spread through social media about the Pakistan Army and national affairs.
