Quetta (Web Desk): Balochistan announces Rs1.38 billion bounty for 39 ‘most-wanted terrorists’, offering Rs250 million each for key suspects.

The Balochistan government has made public the names and photographs of 39 individuals declared as “most-wanted terrorists.” The announcement was published in major newspapers along with large cash rewards for information leading to their arrest.

Among the top names are Bashir Zeb, head of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), and Gulzar Imam, also known as Shambay, a commander of the Majeed Brigade. The government has announced Rs250 million each for information about these two men. Both are reported to be from Kech district.

According to officials, rewards of up to Rs250 million have been set for actionable intelligence on individual suspects. In total, the provincial government has announced Rs1.38 billion in bounty money.

The government has promised that any credible and accurate information will be acted upon quickly. Authorities also assured that the identity of informants will remain strictly confidential. To encourage cooperation, two helpline numbers, 1719 and 1218, have been provided.

This step comes as part of intensified efforts to counter militancy in the province. Balochistan has faced years of insurgency and violence. Recently, militants from the banned ‘Fitna-al-Hindustan’ group carried out attacks at several locations, resulting in the deaths of dozens of citizens.
