ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued a powerful statement, praising Pakistan’s historic and precision-driven counterstrike—Operation Bunyanum Marsoos—which he said completely dismantled India’s illusion of numerical superiority and arrogant might.

While addressing the nation on Tuesday, the Prime Minister paid glowing tribute to the heroes of Marka-i-Haq (Battle of Truth) who gave their lives defending Pakistan against India’s unprovoked and cowardly aggression.

In his words, “We not only defended our homeland with full force, but also preserved Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Our armed forces stood like an iron wall, delivering a response India will never forget.”

PM Shehbaz honoured five brave officers of the Pakistan Air Force and six courageous soldiers of the Pakistan Army who were martyred during the operation. He saluted their families, calling them the pride of the nation, and assured that their sacrifices are now etched into the soul of Pakistan’s history.

Referring to the tragic loss of 40 innocent civilians, including 15 children and 7 women, as a result of India’s indiscriminate attacks, the Prime Minister expressed his deep sorrow and rage. “We have not forgotten our martyrs, and we never will. Their families will never be abandoned.”

Reiterating the state’s unwavering support, he confirmed that a comprehensive Martyrs’ Package had already been announced to ensure the families of the fallen heroes are fully cared for.

In a message clearly aimed at New Delhi, PM Shehbaz said: “Operation Bunyanum Marsoos is undeniable proof that Pakistan seeks peace—but knows exactly how to deal with aggression. India must now learn to respect the sovereignty of its neighbours.”

As the world watches the aftermath, one thing is now crystal clear: Pakistan’s military response was not just swift—it was a game-changing blow to India’s inflated sense of power.
