In a shocking and unprovoked act of aggression, the Indian armed forces launched a brutal and cowardly attack on the night of 6th and 7th May 2025, targeting innocent Pakistani civilians—including women, children, and the elderly.
According to Pakistan Military’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian strikes were not only baseless but also a violation of every human and international law.

During this inhumane assault, 40 civilians embraced martyrdom, including 7 women and 15 children, while 121 others were seriously injured, among them 10 women and 27 children. India’s military recklessness once again exposed its shameful policy of targeting non-combatants to provoke chaos and fear.
But India underestimated Pakistan’s resolve. In a powerful and coordinated counter-offensive named ‘Operation Bunyan Al-Marsoos’ (Iron Wall), Pakistan’s armed forces struck back with surgical precision. Every Indian target was chosen carefully, ensuring maximum damage to enemy military assets, while avoiding civilian harm—a clear contrast to India’s barbaric tactics.
As part of this rightful defense campaign, Pakistan Army launched Operation Ma’arka-e-Haq (Battle for Truth), restoring balance and sending a loud, clear message: Pakistan will not remain silent in the face of cowardice.
However, defending the homeland came with great sacrifice. 11 brave Pakistani soldiers were martyred, while 78 others were wounded. These heroes gave their lives so that the nation could stand tall. The martyrs included:
From Pakistan Army: Naik Abdul Rehman, Lance Naik Dilawar Khan, Lance Naik Ikramullah, Naik Waqar Khalid, Sepoy Muhammad Adeel Akbar, Sepoy Nisar
From Pakistan Air Force: Squadron Leader Usman Yousaf, Chief Technician Aurangzeb, Senior Technician Najeeb, Corporal Technician Farooq, and Senior Technician Mubashir
These sons of the soil laid down their lives with valor and unwavering patriotism. Their names are now engraved in the hearts of the nation, a symbol of undying love and sacrifice for Pakistan.
The ISPR reaffirmed that their courage will never be forgotten, and their sacrifice is a guiding light for generations to come. The entire nation stands united in honoring the martyrs and praying for the swift recovery of the injured. The armed forces vow to remain ever ready to respond with full force against any future Indian aggression.
