According to security sources, the attack occurred at 9 AM near Dhadhar, close to Bolan Pass. The terrorists stopped the train in a tunnel and took innocent passengers, including women and children, hostage.

Despite the difficult terrain and distance from main roads, security forces have surrounded the area and started a clearance operation. The terrorists are reportedly in contact with their foreign facilitators. The operation will continue until all the terrorists are eliminated.

Sources also stated that the terrorists’ actions against innocent passengers show that they have no connection with Islam, Pakistan, or Balochistan. The terrorists involved in this cowardly attack are in contact with their masterminds in Afghanistan.

Security forces have surrounded the terrorists, but the operation is complex due to the presence of women and children as shields. Firing is ongoing, and the operation is being conducted with great care.

Security sources further noted that Indian and enemy social media have been very active in spreading false propaganda since the attack. Indian media, along with enemy accounts, are spreading misleading and fake news through old videos, pictures, and fake messages to create confusion.

The sources advised the public to avoid misleading information on social media and rely on verified sources for updates.

Meanwhile, Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rand said emergency measures have been taken. All agencies are active, and emergency has been declared at the Sibi hospital, he added.
