Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant decline on Tuesday as the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) announced a drop in domestic rates, mirroring international market movements.
According to APSGJA, 24K gold per tola decreased by Rs1,900, settling at Rs441,862. Similarly, 24K gold per 10 grams dropped by Rs1,629 to Rs378,825, and 22K gold per 10 grams fell by Rs1,494 to Rs347,268. The international gold price stood at $4,195, down by $19.
Silver rates remain stable
In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged. Silver 24K per tola stayed at Rs6,102, while per 10 grams it held at Rs5,231. The international silver price also remained steady at $58.30.

The rates are calculated based on interbank exchange market prices, with 24K gold having a purity of 999. Analysts suggest that domestic gold prices are closely linked with international trends and currency fluctuations, urging investors to monitor market movements before making purchases.
