Lawyer’s body discovered in parked car at Rawalpindi Judicial Complex

Police said the body was discovered in the parking area of the Judicial Complex on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Advocate Sanaullah Satti, according to the initial police report.

Officials said a moharir working at the Judicial Complex informed Civil Lines police about the body at around 9:30 am.

The discovery prompted police to reach the location and begin an initial investigation into the circumstances surrounding the lawyer’s death.

Forensic team called to examine the scene

A team from the Punjab Forensic Science Agency was also called to the Judicial Complex after the body was found.

Forensic officials are expected to examine the vehicle and other evidence at the scene as part of the investigation.

Rawalpindi Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Tariq Mehboob told reporters that the exact cause of death would be known after the forensic report is released.

Police have not publicly established whether a medical condition, an accident or any criminal act caused the death.

The forensic findings are therefore expected to play an important role in determining what happened before the lawyer was found inside the parked vehicle.

Officials have so far not announced any arrest or confirmed that the death was a murder.

The latest incident comes months after another lawyer’s body was found in a deserted area of Islamabad.

In January, police said a lawyer’s body was discovered in the H-9 area of the capital.

Passersby alerted police after finding the body in the deserted location.

According to police at the time, the lawyer had suffered a bullet wound to the back, and investigators suspected that the person had been murdered.

The earlier case and the latest discovery are separate incidents, and available information shows no indication that the two cases are connected.

The circumstances of the two deaths are also different, with police still waiting for forensic evidence in the Rawalpindi case.
