Lahore foreign women case takes major turn after medical report
The case involves the alleged kidnapping and gang rape of foreign women in Lahore’s Defence area. Police said the latest medical findings have become an important part of the ongoing investigation.
According to police sources, three of the arrested suspects sexually assaulted one of the women. During questioning, the suspects also admitted that they transferred $19,000 from the women’s digital wallets.
Investigators further claimed that the suspects had invested between $400,000 and $500,000 in cryptocurrency with the women. Police said the suspects were demanding the return of that money before the incident took place.
Police have collected DNA samples from both the suspects and the victims for forensic examination. The suspects’ mobile phones have also been sent to a forensic laboratory for detailed analysis.
