Need a job? Mohsin Naqvi announces 1,712 merit-based police vacancies
Sharing the announcement on the X platform, Mohsin Naqvi described the recruitment drive as a major opportunity for young men and women. He said, “If you have the passion to serve Pakistan with honour, courage, and integrity, this is your chance.”
The interior minister said candidates from every province, region, and part of the country are eligible to apply. He added that the recruitment process is open to all deserving applicants without any regional restrictions.
Naqvi also informed applicants that recruitment tests will be held in nearby locations to make the process easier. He reminded candidates that only four days remain to apply and urged them not to miss the opportunity.
He stressed that the entire recruitment process will be conducted strictly on merit. According to the minister, “Let me make it absolutely clear, merit will be the only criterion for selection.”

Naqvi warned that any attempt to use influence or pressure during the recruitment process would lead to immediate disqualification. He also encouraged interested candidates by saying, “Join Islamabad Police. Serve Pakistan with pride. Apply Online http://npftas.pk.”
The recruitment drive is expected to attract thousands of applicants from across the country. Officials believe the hiring process will strengthen the police force by bringing in qualified and capable young people.
The large number of vacancies offers a valuable opportunity for job seekers looking for government employment. If the recruitment is completed fairly and on merit, it could improve public confidence in the hiring process.
