NADRA team to visit Tabuk

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a special service for Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia’s Tabuk region.

A NADRA mobile registration team will visit the area to provide important identity document services to the Pakistani community. The move is expected to make it easier for residents to access services without travelling to distant registration centres.

The team will be available on September 11 and 12, 2026, which fall on Friday and Saturday. Services will be provided from 8am to 4pm local time on both days.

The temporary facility will operate at Al Aziziyah Al Qadeema, also known as Old Aziziyah, on King Khalid Road in Tabuk, with postal code 47912.

NADRA announced the visit through its official social media account and encouraged eligible Pakistanis in the area to make use of the facility.

NICOP services available for Pakistanis

The mobile team will provide several services related to the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis, commonly known as NICOP.

Pakistanis will be able to apply for a NICOP for the first time through the visiting team. Existing card holders will also be able to use the facility for renewal, modification, cancellation and reprint services.

The team will also provide Family Registration Certificate, or FRC, services. The certificate is an important document for Pakistani families and can be required for various official purposes.

By bringing these services directly to Tabuk, NADRA aims to make identity-related procedures more convenient for overseas Pakistanis.

The temporary arrangement may be particularly helpful for people who have difficulty travelling to other cities for routine identity document work. Residents can visit the specified location during the announced service hours.

NADRA gives new B-Form advice to parents

Alongside the Tabuk announcement, NADRA has also issued advice to parents about their children’s B-Form, officially known as the Child Registration Certificate.

The authority has advised parents to make sure their children have the newer B-Form containing a photograph and fingerprints. This biometric information is important because it helps ensure that the child’s details are properly available in NADRA’s records.

NADRA said that if a photograph- and fingerprint-based B-Form has not been issued, the required biometric information may not be available in its database.

This could become important when parents later apply for a child’s first Computerised National Identity Card, or CNIC.

Parents are therefore being encouraged to check whether their children’s records contain the required biometric information before beginning the CNIC application process.

When can a child’s CNIC be applied for online?

NADRA has explained that parents may need to visit a registration centre if the required biometric information is missing from their child’s records.

This applies when they need to obtain a CNIC for their child for the first time and the child’s photograph and biometric details have not already been recorded.

However, there is a simpler option when the required information is already linked to the child’s CRC or B-Form.

If the child’s photograph, fingerprints and iris scan are already connected to the B-Form in NADRA’s records, parents can submit an application for a first-time CNIC through the PakID mobile application.

This means parents may be able to complete the process digitally without making a separate visit to a registration centre, provided the necessary biometric information is already available.

The advice is aimed at helping families avoid delays when their children become eligible for their first CNIC.

What Pakistanis in Tabuk should know

The mobile registration facility is only scheduled for the announced dates and hours. Pakistanis planning to use the service should therefore arrange their visit accordingly.

The team will be present in Tabuk on September 11 and 12 from 8am to 4pm local time. The location is Al Aziziyah Al Qadeema on King Khalid Road.

The available services include first-time NICOP applications, renewals, modifications, cancellations and reprints. FRC services will also be available during the visit.

For families, the separate B-Form guidance is also important. Keeping children’s photographs and biometric information updated can make their future CNIC applications easier.
