Temporary lane closures on M-2 South

Motorway Police has issued important instructions for travellers using the M-2 South motorway. Some lanes have been temporarily closed because of ongoing road repair work.

Repair work underway near Khanqah Dogran

According to the Motorway Police spokesperson, repair work is continuing at Khanqah Dogran Northbound on M-2 South. The Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) has started patchwork on the affected section, which may slow down traffic.

The second and third lanes have been closed for around 200 to 250 metres during the repair work. The work includes road construction, step-by-step filling and other necessary repairs.

Special arrangements for travellers

Motorway Police said special arrangements had been made to protect travellers and keep traffic moving. Cones and diversion boards have been placed around the repair area to inform drivers about the changed route.

These signs are intended to help motorists understand the temporary traffic arrangements in advance. Drivers are advised to remain alert while passing through the affected section.

Motorway Police has asked citizens to reduce their speed as soon as they reach the repair site. Drivers have also been advised to avoid overtaking and travel with extreme caution.
