Govt sets up special cell to ensure fair recruitment under job quota
The Establishment Division has set up the Balochistan Federal Employment Facilitation Cell to support transparent and timely hiring under the province’s allocated job quota.
New cell to address recruitment hurdles
According to an official notification, the cell will review existing recruitment procedures and identify problems faced by eligible candidates from Balochistan. It will focus on administrative and practical barriers that may prevent applicants from securing federal government jobs.
The initiative aims to make the recruitment process easier and improve access to employment opportunities. Candidates from remote areas of Balochistan will receive particular attention.
Focus on awareness of federal job vacancies
The cell will propose measures to improve awareness of federal government job openings among candidates in Balochistan. It will also look for ways to help applicants access these opportunities more easily.
Limited information about vacancies and difficulties in reaching recruitment channels can create challenges for candidates in remote areas. The cell will examine these issues and suggest steps to improve access to job information.
Coordination with ministries and departments
The Balochistan Federal Employment Facilitation Cell will coordinate with federal ministries and their subordinate departments to support recruitment under the applicable rules and government policies. It will also work to ensure that the prescribed job quota for Balochistan is followed.
The cell will review recruitment practices and recommend improvements where necessary. Its work is intended to support a more transparent and timely hiring process for eligible candidates.
Officials appointed to lead the cell
According to the notification, the Joint Secretary (Regulation) of the Establishment Division has been appointed as the cell’s overall in-charge. Shahid Nawaz has been designated as its coordinator.
The officials will oversee the cell’s work, including reviewing recruitment procedures and identifying barriers faced by applicants. The cell will also develop proposals to improve access to federal employment opportunities for candidates across Balochistan.
The new cell could help eligible candidates from Balochistan get better access to federal government jobs. Its effectiveness will depend on how well it identifies recruitment problems and works with government departments to resolve them.
Better job information and fair implementation of the provincial quota could make the process more accessible. Candidates will benefit most if the proposed measures lead to practical improvements in recruitment.
