Govt announces date for first Hajj 2027 installment
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said the government has fully digitised the 2027 Hajj application process.
Under the new system, pilgrims will be able to submit their applications from home. The move is aimed at reducing long queues and saving applicants from unnecessary visits to government offices.
Around 400,000 registered pilgrims will be able to apply through the digital system.
First payment to start from August 17
The government has announced that the first installment for Hajj 2027 will be collected starting August 17. The second installment is expected to be collected in October.
Pilgrims will have three payment options. They can pay through credit cards or PSID. Those who prefer cash can print a challan and submit the payment at the designated facility.
The payment options are part of efforts to make Hajj 2027 registration easier for applicants.
More than 107,000 seats available
The government has allocated 107,526 seats under the official Hajj scheme.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Officials will stop receiving applications once the available quota is filled.
This means people interested in performing Hajj 2027 may need to complete their applications early to avoid missing out on the available seats.

Private Hajj process also goes digital
Pilgrims choosing the private scheme will also have a digital option.
The minister said applicants will be able to select a private Hajj operator through the Pak Hajj app.
However, pilgrims have been advised not to make direct payments to private operators. They should follow the official digital process and verify payment details before sending money.
Easier process for pilgrims
The government says the new Hajj application 2027 system will make registration faster and more convenient.
Applicants will be able to complete much of the process from home instead of waiting in long queues.
