According to details, voting for the by-election in Sialkot s PP-52 constituency is underway from 8 am today. 14 candidates, including PML-N, PTI, and PPP leaders, are contesting for this seat.
The constituency includes 18 union councils of Sambrial and Daska. There is a possibility of a close contest between the PML-N and PTI. The three major parties held large rallies during the election campaign.

Political leaders also participated in the election campaign of their candidates. Due to the strong interest of the voters of the constituency, there was an atmosphere similar to a general election. This seat has fallen vacant due to the death of PML-N member of the Punjab Assembly Arshad Warraich, whose daughter Hina Arshad Warraich is a PML-N candidate.
Pakistan People s Party s Kamran Zahid Cheema is contesting the election against Hina Arshad. PTI candidate Fakhir Nishat is also hopeful to clinch the victory.
