The offer has created excitement as many eye a chance to study in Hungary under one of Europe’s most competitive scholarship programs.
The Higher Education Commission announced that students can apply for Bachelors, One-Tier Masters, Masters and PhD programs under the scheme launched by the Government of Hungary. Applicants must complete their submissions on both the HEC portal and the Stipendium Hungaricum portal before the final deadline of 15 January 2026 at 16:00 hrs (Pakistan Standard Time).
This year’s scholarship offers cover several major academic fields. For Bachelor’s degrees, 200 seats are available across all disciplines. The One-Tier Master’s category offers 70 seats, including 20 for Medicine or General Medicine, 10 for Dentistry and 40 for other subjects.
For postgraduate options, the Master’s degree track includes 100 seats, while the PhD program offers 30 seats across all available fields. Students meeting the basic eligibility criteria and university-specific requirements in Hungary can apply through the official system.
HEC officials say the scholarship remains highly competitive, and students are advised to prepare documents early to avoid last-minute issues. The program has benefited many Pakistani students in previous years, offering quality education, exposure and international academic experience.
