According to HEC, the registration portal will open on December 8, 2025, and candidates may apply until January 15, 2026. The examination will be held on February 1, 2026, across designated test centers nationwide.

Valid Test Score Mandatory for Application

HEC clarified that a valid USAT or HAT score is compulsory for all applicants. Applications submitted without a valid score will not be processed.

The commission advised students to register early, as this dedicated testing session is arranged solely for scholarship applicants and may not be repeated.

Registration Through ETC Portal

All registrations will be conducted through the HEC Education Testing Council (ETC) portal, where applicants must:

• Create a profile
• Fill in the required information
• Upload documents
• Pay the test fee before the deadline

Detailed guidelines will be available on the portal once registrations begin.

HEC urged students to complete all requirements on time to avoid last-minute complications and ensure eligibility for the competitive scholarship program.
