The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has launched LLM and PhD scholarships specifically for students from Balochistan, offering opportunities to study at leading universities in Pakistan and abroad. Talented students holding a Balochistan domicile are eligible to apply for local LLM scholarships as well as international LLM and PhD programs.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have completed LLB and LLM degrees with at least 50% marks. Age limits are set at 30 years for LLM and 35 years for PhD candidates. A minimum score of 50% in the aptitude test is also required.

Application Deadline

HEC has set the last date to submit applications as January 13, 2026. Students are advised to prepare their documents and apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

Law Admission Test (LAT) Schedule

In addition, HEC announced the Law Admission Test (LAT) schedule for LLB programs at Pakistani universities. Applications for LAT will close on December 29, 2025, and the test will be held on January 25, 2026. Interested candidates should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and submit applications before the deadline.
