The closure of colleges and postponement of major exams in Lahore division reflects how severely Punjab’s floods are impacting the education sector. With more than 8,000 candidates affected by exam delays and entire campuses shutting down, the disruption is widespread and damaging. The possibility of extending school holidays adds to the uncertainty, as thousands of students face academic setbacks.
This crisis highlights not only the destructive power of the floods but also the fragility of Pakistan’s educational infrastructure in times of disaster.
