The University of Leeds Ferguson Scholarship 2026 is now open for Pakistani students, offering a fully funded opportunity to pursue one-year full-time taught Master’s programs in disciplines related to social, economic, and technological development.
Funded by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust, the scholarship covers full tuition fees, a £17,500 annual stipend, return economy travel, and other allowances. Eligible schools include Law, Medicine, Media and Communication, Physics and Astronomy, Earth and Environment, and Leeds University Business School (excluding the MBA program).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be from developing countries, including Pakistan.
- Pursue a one-year taught Master’s program in selected schools relevant to social, economic, or technological development.
- Hold or expect to hold a first undergraduate degree equivalent to at least a UK Upper Second Class Honours degree by September 2026.
- Be ineligible to pay for UK study independently or through family support.
- Not have undertaken studies of one year or more in a developed country previously.
- Meet the University of Leeds English language requirements by the application deadline.
