(Web Desk): Punjab education department issued a notification allowing summer camps during summer vacation in schools under strict rules.

The official order states that summer camps will run from 01.06.2026 to 30.06.2026 across Punjab schools. Authorities have clearly defined the schedule, rules, and responsibilities for all institutions.

The camps will only be conducted from Monday to Thursday, while Friday will remain off. Timings have been fixed from 07:00 am to 10:00 am for all schools.

No extra or additional fee will be charged by private schools for summer camps. Government schools will also not charge any tuition fee from students or teachers.

All activities must be held indoors in classrooms, and participation will be completely optional for students. Parents’ consent will be mandatory before students join.

Schools are instructed to ensure basic facilities like cleanliness, drinking water, fans, seating arrangements, and electricity backup. A first aid box with necessary supplies must also be available.

Students will not be required to wear uniforms during camps. They will be allowed to wear weather-friendly clothing for comfort during activities.

Authorities have warned that strict legal action will be taken against any institution violating these instructions. School heads and education officers have been directed to ensure full compliance.
