(Web Desk): A viral notification claiming that schools in Sindh would remain closed until 15 April has been strictly denied by the Sindh government.

Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah said that the fake document claimed that due to “smart lockdown” and “fuel shortage,” all government and private schools would extend holidays until 15 April.

The false notice also stated that exams would continue according to the original schedule despite the extended holidays.

Sardar Shah clarified on social media that the document circulating online is completely fabricated and misleading. He urged the public and parents not to share unverified information and to rely only on official government sources.

According to the Education Minister, all schools will remain open as usual, and no decision has been made to extend holidays.

Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has released a new timetable for government schools. Primary school timings are set from 7:30am to 1:35pm.

The timetable also emphasizes students’ moral education and public speaking. Schools are required to hold speeches and moral lessons three times a week and art-based ethical activities on other days. Principals have been instructed to organize literary gatherings every last working day of the week.
