The Russian University of Friendship of Peoples (RUDN) has officially opened registration for the online stage of its Open Olympiad for foreign citizens, bringing a major opportunity for Pakistani students aspiring to pursue higher education in Russia.
According to the announcement of the Russian Embassy in Pakistan, high school graduates and final-year university students from Pakistan are eligible to participate. The Olympiad serves as a gateway to fully funded education at RUDN under the Russian government quota, making it one of the most attractive study opportunities abroad for Pakistani youth.

Students who secure top positions in the Olympiad will be granted free education at RUDN, while runner-up candidates will receive substantial tuition fee discounts. Additionally, runner-ups may also qualify for fully funded admission if government-quota seats remain available after Olympiad winners are admitted.
To participate, applicants must complete online registration and upload scanned copies of their passport or national ID, along with an academic diploma or certificate showing grades from the most recent year of study. Candidates who successfully pass the online test will be shortlisted for an individual interview, which is the final stage of the selection process.
RUDN officials have advised applicants to carefully review the Olympiad guidelines and eligibility criteria available on the official Olympiad platform. For further assistance, participants may contact the Olympiad team via the official email provided by RUDN.
This initiative strengthens academic cooperation between Pakistan and Russia, opening new pathways for talented Pakistani students to access international education, scholarships, and global career opportunities.
