(Web Desk): Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz offers 1,000 internships with Rs60,000 stipend for veterinary graduates and Rs40,000 for para-vets with jobs.

The program aims to support youth financially and improve their professional skills through practical training.

Maryam Nawaz has launched the special internship program under the Punjab government for veterinary graduates and para-vets. Under this scheme, selected graduates will receive Rs60,000 monthly stipend.

The program will provide internships to 1,000 veterinary graduates and para-vets across the province. Officials said the goal is to give practical experience in livestock farms, rural areas, and animal health services.

According to the government, livestock is a key part of Punjab’s economy. Better training and skilled professionals are needed to improve animal care, vaccination, treatment, and disease control.

Veterinary graduates will receive Rs60,000 per month, while para-vets will get Rs40,000 monthly stipend. Authorities said this financial support will help young people gain experience while also earning during training.

The internship quota includes 264 seats for veterinary graduates and 371 for para-vets this year. Selected candidates will be posted in different districts for hands-on training in real field conditions.

Applicants can now apply until May 15, 2026, after the deadline extension. Applications must be submitted through the official portal at www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk.

Officials said the program is designed to provide employment, training, and skill development to youth. It is expected to improve both job opportunities and the livestock sector in Punjab.
