Punjab enforces 10% free education law as private schools get deadline

The Punjab Assembly’s Standing Committee has directed all private schools across the province to fully implement the law. Schools that fail to comply within the given deadline could have their licences cancelled.

The committee reviewed the implementation of the law during its latest meeting. Members expressed concern that many schools have not yet fully followed the requirement.
