The Peshawar Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has officially announced the results of the annual matric examinations. Along with the results, the board also released detailed statistics showing the number of students who appeared in the examinations and those who passed, failed, or were promoted.

This year, a total of 97,950 students appeared in the Class 9 annual examinations. According to the board administration, 57,847 students were promoted to Class 10 after successfully meeting the required academic standards.

Class 9 students move to the next stage

The board administration said that nearly 98,000 students took part in the Class 9 examinations this year. Out of them, 57,847 students qualified for promotion to Class 10.

The released statistics mainly focused on the number of students who were promoted. The board has not yet shared additional details regarding the remaining candidates or their examination status.

Every year, thousands of students across Peshawar participate in the matric examinations, making these results one of the most important milestones in their educational journey.

Class 10 results show mixed performance

According to the Peshawar Board administration, 95,496 students appeared in the Class 10 annual matric examinations.

Out of these candidates, 66,988 students successfully passed the examinations and completed their matric qualification. Their success allows them to continue their education by applying for admission to colleges and higher secondary institutions.

At the same time, 27,788 students failed to secure the required passing marks. These students may have another opportunity to improve their results according to the examination rules and policies of the board.
