Pakistan’s National Curriculum Council (NCC) has officially approved a comprehensive artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics curriculum for students from grades 1 to 12, aiming to foster innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
The newly finalized curriculum, developed by the National Curriculum Council Wing, equips students with computational technology knowledge, modern systems understanding, and robotics design skills, emphasizing responsible use and practical problem-solving.

According to the NCC, the curriculum is structured to align with different stages of student development, promoting critical thinking, innovation, and creativity. Once officially notified, the curriculum will be shared with provincial education departments, curriculum authorities, teacher training institutions, and examination boards for implementation.
This initiative positions Pakistani students to stay ahead in emerging technologies, integrating AI, robotics, computational thinking, and modern technology education into mainstream schooling from an early age. The program also aims to prepare youth for future tech-driven careers and global competitiveness.
