Govt announces MDCAT 2026 date, test centers and key instructions for students
MDCAT 2026 exam date officially confirmed
SIBA Testing Services has announced that the MDCAT 2026 examination will be held on Sunday, August 16 under the supervision of Sukkur IBA Testing Services.
The MDCAT exam date has now been finalized, allowing students to complete their preparations before appearing for the entrance test.
Officials have advised all candidates to verify their assigned MDCAT test centres well before the examination day.
MDCAT test centres announced across Sindh
To make travel easier for students, SIBA Testing Services has established MDCAT test centres in several cities.
The approved MDCAT test centres are located in Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Larkana, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Islamabad.
Students will only be allowed to appear at the examination centre assigned to them.
Where will candidates take the exam?
In Karachi, the examination will be conducted at NED University of Engineering and Technology.
Candidates from Hyderabad will appear at Public School Latifabad.
Students in Jamshoro will take the test at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences.
The Mirpurkhas centre has been established at Mir Sher Muhammad Talpur Public School.

The Larkana examination centre will be located at Police Training School Ground, Wagon Road.
Candidates in Shaheed Benazirabad will appear at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology, while Sukkur students will take the examination at IBA Public School, Old Airport Road.
These MDCAT test centres have been selected to provide easier access to candidates across the province.
Special arrangements for Islamabad candidates
SIBA Testing Services has also announced a special facility for Sindh domicile candidates currently living in Islamabad.
These students will be allowed to appear for MDCAT 2026 at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) examination centre.
Officials said this arrangement has been made to ensure that relocated candidates can sit for the examination without travelling back to Sindh.
Important exam day instructions
The MDCAT exam date has been confirmed with a three-hour examination duration.
Candidates have been instructed to reach their assigned examination centres before the reporting time.
Officials warned that late arrivals may not be allowed to enter after the paper begins.
Students will also not be permitted to leave the examination hall before the paper is completed.
SIBA Testing Services has asked candidates to strictly follow all examination rules.

Facilities for students and parents
Authorities said parents will have separate waiting areas at all MDCAT test centres.
Students will also receive basic stationery and clean drinking water inside the examination halls.
