Web Desk: The Government of Pakistan is providing financial support to students through the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program, offering eligible families up to Rs5,000 student payment every quarter.

The Benazir Taleemi Wazaif initiative has been launched to help children from poor families continue their education without financial pressure. Under the program, the BISP education stipend is only available for children whose mothers are registered under the BISP Kafalat Program.

Who Can Apply for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif?

Officials said families already benefiting from the BISP Kafalat Program can register their children for the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif scheme.

To receive the BISP education stipend, the child must have a valid NADRA-issued B-Form or CRC. Authorities added that children applying for the program must also meet the required age conditions according to their education level.

For primary classes, children aged 4 to 12 years are eligible. For secondary education, the age requirement is between 8 and 18 years, while students aged 13 to 22 years can apply for higher secondary education support.

Simple Steps to Get Rs5,000 Student Payment

Parents or guardians must visit the nearest BISP office along with the child to start the registration process for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif.

At the office, families need to submit the child’s NADRA B-Form or CRC and provide the mobile number already registered under the BISP Kafalat Program.

After registration, the BISP representative issues an enrollment slip. The slip must be verified and stamped by the child’s school administration before submission back to the BISP office.

Officials said the verified slip must include the school name, class details, teacher’s information, and head teacher’s confirmation before approval of the BISP education stipend.

Documents Required for BISP Education Stipend

Parents applying for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif must carry the mother’s CNIC, the child’s NADRA-issued B-Form or CRC, and a verified school admission slip.

Authorities confirmed that NADRA verification is compulsory before any Rs5,000 student payment is approved.

Attendance Rule Under BISP Kafalat Program

Officials warned that children receiving support under the BISP Kafalat Program must maintain at least 70 percent attendance in school or college.

Students failing to meet the attendance requirement may lose access to the BISP education stipend and future payments under Benazir Taleemi Wazaif.

How Much Money Will Students Receive?

Under Benazir Taleemi Wazaif, different payments are fixed for boys and girls studying at different education levels.

Primary school boys receive Rs2,500, while girls receive Rs3,000 every quarter.

Secondary school boys receive Rs3,500, while girls receive Rs4,000.

For higher secondary classes, boys are given Rs4,500, while girls can receive up to Rs5,000 student payment every quarter.

Officials said the higher payment amount for girls is aimed at encouraging female education under the BISP Kafalat Program.
