Pakistani artists, researchers, and cultural professionals can now apply for Fully Funded UNESCO Scholarships 2026 in Sweden, offering a prestigious four-week international residency with complete financial support and no IELTS requirement.

The UNESCO World Heritage Scholarship 2026 is a postgraduate-level residency and fellowship program hosted at the Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Sweden. The program invites creative professionals from Pakistan and around the world to live and work in Europe while engaging in cross-cultural research and artistic collaboration.

What the UNESCO Scholarship Offers

Selected candidates will receive full financial coverage, including a stipend of SEK 50,000 (around USD 4,500) to support living costs and project-related expenses throughout the residency period. The scholarship is designed to remove financial barriers, enabling talented individuals from developing countries, including Pakistan, to participate fully.

No IELTS Required for Pakistani Applicants

One of the most attractive features of the UNESCO Sweden Scholarship is that no IELTS or formal language test is required, making it accessible for Pakistani professionals in art, culture, heritage conservation, music, architecture, anthropology, and research.

Project Focus and Eligibility

Applicants are encouraged to submit innovative project proposals that creatively connect the Hälsingland World Heritage site with another UNESCO-listed site anywhere in the world. The program values originality, cultural dialogue, and global heritage collaboration.

Pakistani applicants with strong portfolios, research backgrounds, or creative experience in cultural and heritage-related fields are strongly encouraged to apply.
