China has officially announced Fudan University Scholarships 2026 for Pakistani students, opening new pathways to higher education under the International Elite Pioneer Program. The initiative is supported by the Chinese and Shanghai governments in collaboration with Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission (HEC).
According to HEC, applications are invited from Pakistani students for Master’s and PhD programs at Fudan University, one of China’s most prestigious institutions. The programs will be offered under the International Elite Pioneer Program 2026, with all courses taught entirely in English.
Programs Offered Under Fudan University Scholarships 2026
The scholarship covers a wide range of modern and high-demand disciplines. At the Master’s level, available fields include finance, international business, big data, software engineering, Chinese politics, journalism, and public policy.
For PhD candidates, opportunities are available in physics, biology, environmental science, mathematics, public management, artificial intelligence (AI), computer science, information science, and advanced materials.

Fully Funded Scholarship Benefits
Students selected for the Fudan University scholarships will receive comprehensive financial support, including:
- Full tuition fee waiver
- Free on-campus accommodation
- Monthly stipend
- Medical insurance
Master’s students will receive a monthly stipend of 3,000 Chinese Yuan, while PhD students will be granted up to 3,500 Chinese Yuan per month.
Eligibility Criteria for Pakistani Students
To qualify for the Fudan University International Elite Pioneer Program, applicants must:
- Be non-Chinese citizens
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree for Master’s programs
- Hold a Master’s degree for PhD programs
- Demonstrate English proficiency (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent)
- Be exempt from language tests if prior education was in English
- Obtain prior supervisor consent for PhD applications
- Meet physical, mental, and academic conduct standards

Strategic Importance of the Pioneer Program
The program is part of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and operates under the CPEC Consortium of Universities. Pakistan has been selected as one of the five pilot countries, alongside Kazakhstan, Russia, Laos, and Hungary.

Applications for the Fudan University Scholarships 2026 are open from December 25, 2025, to February 22, 2026. Pakistani students must apply online through the Fudan University application portal, while detailed guidelines are available on the HEC website.
Successful candidates will begin their studies in August or September 2026, subject to the official admission notice issued by Fudan University.
