Admissions announced for PhD scholarships under the US-Pakistan knowledge corridor
The scholarship program is being launched under the Uraan Pakistan initiative in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to promote advanced research and higher education opportunities for Pakistani scholars.
The program has been divided into two scholarship categories based on university rankings. Students admitted to universities ranked among the top 50 in the US will receive an annual stipend of $19,200, along with $2,000 per year for health insurance.

Meanwhile, scholars securing admission to universities ranked 51st to 100th will be eligible for up to $12,000 annually in tuition fees, a $12,000 yearly stipend, and $2,000 per year for health insurance.
The initiative aims to facilitate doctoral education at leading US institutions while strengthening Pakistan's research capacity through international academic collaboration.
