UOL student dies after falling from campus building

LAHORE (Web Desk): A University of Lahore (UOL) student died after falling from the fourth floor of a campus building, in an incident being investigated as a suspected suicide.

The deceased, identified as Awais Sultan, suffered critical injuries after the fall. Rescue teams quickly shifted him to a nearby hospital, but he later succumbed to his injuries.

The fall caused panic across the University of Lahore (UOL) campus. Police have launched an investigation to determine whether it was an accident or a suicide. The university has not yet released an official statement.

Social media reports suggest Awais Sultan was a fifth-semester student in the Department of Pharmacy. Videos circulating online show security staff and university personnel gathered near the site.

Last month, another tragic incident occurred in Karachi at Manora Himalaya Beach, where five Dow Medical University students drowned during a picnic. Three lost their lives, while two were rescued in critical condition.
