Umrah pilgrim arrested after being denied boarding on Saudi-Bound flight
Officials from FIA immigration Pakistan said the passenger was offloaded because she did not meet the required travel conditions.
The woman, identified as Tehmeena Bibi from Attock, had arrived at Islamabad Airport to travel to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), the Umrah pilgrim denied boarding was referred for secondary verification after officials found her documents incomplete.
After further checks, FIA immigration Pakistan decided that the passenger could not travel on the Saudi-bound flight because she failed to satisfy the required verification process.
The Umrah pilgrim denied boarding asked immigration staff to provide a written explanation for the decision. When no written response was given, an argument reportedly broke out between the passenger and airport officials.
Dispute leads to arrest
Officials said the woman tried to record the incident on her mobile phone. Immigration staff asked her to stop recording and delete the video, but she continued demanding a written explanation.
The Umrah pilgrim arrested was later detained with the help of female staff members and handed over to Airport Police. A criminal case was registered against her before she was presented before a local court.
The court later granted bail to the Umrah pilgrim arrested, allowing her release while legal proceedings continue.

FIA explains offloading decision
According to the complaint filed by FIA immigration Pakistan, the passenger could not provide sufficient information about her hotel booking or other required documents.
Officials said the passenger was declared unfit for travel under FIA Headquarters’ risk assessment guidelines and was therefore offloaded from the Saudi-bound flight at Islamabad Airport.
Passengers protest over delayed Saudi flight
In a separate incident at Islamabad Airport, passengers travelling on another Saudi-bound flight to Madinah staged a protest after their aircraft experienced technical problems.
The plane departed several hours late before returning to Islamabad as a precaution after the pilot detected a technical fault.
Passengers, including women and children, later disembarked and protested over the long delay before the airline arranged accommodation and operated the flight the following morning.
