LAHORE (Web Desk): Rescue 1122 has launched paid internships for youth, offering Rs40,000 monthly stipend and district-wise seats for technician roles.

 

Rescue 1122, known for emergency response services, has announced paid internship opportunities for young people. The offer aims to help youth gain practical experience while earning a monthly stipend.

Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari shared the details in a video on the Punjab government’s official YouTube channel. She said internships are being offered in Rescue 1122 as Emergency Medical Technician interns.

Applicants must hold a Punjab domicile. Youth with nursing, paramedical, or allied health diplomas, with at least a second division, are eligible to apply for the internship programme.

The age limit for applicants has been set between 18 and 30 years. Seats have been allocated district-wise across Punjab to ensure fair representation.

Major allocations include 131 seats for Lahore, 84 for Faisalabad, 82 for Multan, 72 for Bahawalpur, 70 each for Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Sargodha, and 65 for Sheikhupura and Muzaffargarh. Other districts such as Attock, Kasur, Jhang, Rahim Yar Khan, Sialkot, and Vehari also have multiple seats assigned.

Candidates interested in the Rescue 1122 internship can apply online through Central Testing Service. The last date to submit applications is January 27, 2026.

Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs40,000, making the programme attractive for young professionals seeking experience in emergency medical services.

This programme gives youth real field experience. The stipend can support young professionals financially. District-wise seats improve equal access. Interest is expected to be high before the deadline.
