Social media star Jannat Mirza has finally addressed the backlash she received over her ramp walk at Bridal Couture Week.
After facing days of online criticism, she shared a video explaining what went wrong and why the performance did not meet expectations.
In her statement, Jannat Mirza said the ramp walk was much harder than she had imagined. She explained that her outfit was extremely heavy, which made it difficult for her to move comfortably and affected her balance during the show. She also revealed that she was under mental stress due to a personal matter at the time of the show, though she chose not to go into details.
According to her, several arrangements during the event were different from rehearsals, which added to the pressure and confusion and shaped the overall Jannat Mirza response.
Jannat Mirza further shared that lighting and stage management were not as promised, making it harder to perform confidently.
Despite this, she described the experience as a learning moment and said she hopes to improve in the future, directly addressing the ongoing ramp walk criticism.
