Lahore: (Web Desk) Pakistani Renowned Actors Sajal Aly And Wahaj Ali’s Web Series ‘The Pink Shirt’ Is Set To Be Showcased At Two International Film Festivals.

The director of the web series, Kashif Nisar, created a story that revolves around married couples, Sophia and Sameer, who decide to separate after their marriage.

In Athens, Sophia meets a businessman named Omar, whom she sees as an opportunity to mend her past relationship’s bitterness and move forward. This web series, titled ‘The Pink Shirt,’ streaming on India’s online platform Plate for online streaming, was written by Pakistani writer Bee Gul. Sajal Aly plays the character of Sophia, while Wahaj Ali is seen as Omar.

The initial three episodes of this web series will be presented at a special screening at the ‘London Indian Film Festival,’ which will be held from October 27 in London. Additionally, from October 15 to October 22, 2023, ‘The Pink Shirt’ will also be showcased at the ‘South Film Festival’ held in Sydney, Australia.

It’s worth noting that actress Sajal Aly had already made a name for herself on the international stage with her performances in the films ‘Mom’ and ‘What Will People Say,’ while this is actor Wahaj Ali’s first international project.
