Renowned TV anchor Wasim Badami, who shared a close bond with Ahmad Shah and his family, revealed that Umer passed away around the time of Fajr prayers.
“With a heavy heart, I share that according to doctors, his vomit got stuck in his lungs. This blocked his airways and cut off oxygen supply, leading to cardiac arrest,” Badami explained in an emotional video message.
He appeared visibly shaken as he urged the public to pray for the grieving family during this unimaginable loss.
