Simple Kaul, known for her roles in Shararat and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, in a heartfelt statement confirmed that the decision was reached mutually and amicably, emphasizing their respect and understanding for one another despite the separation.

Speaking to the media, Simple Kaul said: “The decision of divorce was taken mutually by both of us. We are both mature individuals and reached this conclusion with complete understanding.”

She noted that the lengthy duration of marriage—during which she shared a significant portion of her life with her husband—makes the separation feel surreal.

“It still feels unbelievable that this relationship has ended, because I have spent most of my life with him over the years. The thought of separating was unimaginable to me. I live with love and value happiness and spirituality in my life,” further shared Simple Kaul.

The level of maturity and understanding in handling a situation this deep and serious was praised by Kaul as she said the decision to divorce was done with thoughtfulness and sensitivity, which underscored her commitment to moving forward with positivity and grace.
