Recently, Azan Sami appeared in an interview where he revealed that many people have asked him to speak against his father. “People want me to show disinterest towards my father, even though I love him very much. As a Pakistani, I disagree with many things my father does, but I respect him a lot as a father.” Azan said.

The actor expressed his disappointment, saying, “whenever I share a post on social media, people comment and say, "Son of a traitor," while I live here, I chose to live and work in the Pakistani industry, yet I still face hatred for my father s decisions”.

Azan Sami Khan said that his father is very respected in India. “My father has citizenship there, he has also been awarded the Padma Shri there, I can go there whenever I want but I have never been, I love my country and always will”, Azan shared.

Azan shared that he has to prove his loyalty for Pakistan on every step. “My  mother and father are patriotic, will I have to prove my whole life that I am also patriotic?” he added.

Azan Sami Khan said that such criticism is very painful for him.
