Web Desk: Tabish Hashmi remarks on Karachi privatization have sparked strong criticism from Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon, who has demanded immediate action.

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon reacted strongly to recent Tabish Hashmi remarks linked to Karachi privitization, calling them irresponsible and misleading for the public.

He questioned whether Tabish Hashmi understands Sindh’s historical and constitutional role in the creation of Pakistan, labeling the comments as “nonsensical.”

Sharjeel Memon said the idea of Karachi privitization reflects a lack of political awareness. He added that such remarks by Tabish Hashmi can harm national unity and public understanding.

The minister urged the concerned TV channel to take serious notice, initiate an investigation and take action against Tabish Hashmi. He said discussing Karachi privitization casually on air by Tabish Hashmi is unacceptable.

He emphasized that Karachi is an integral part of Sindh and Pakistan, and no individual should make controversial statements without understanding constitutional realities.
