RIYADH (Web Desk): Saudi Arabia has launched the “Coming to Umrah?” campaign to guide pilgrims and improve services ahead of the Ramadan peak season.

Saudi Arabia’s Hajj and Umrah system has introduced a new awareness campaign titled “Coming to Umrah?” as part of preparations for the busiest Umrah period during the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative aims to enhance the overall experience for Umrah performers.

According to officials, the campaign focuses on educating pilgrims about services, procedures, guidelines, and proper conduct at every stage of their journey. This includes planning the trip, arriving in the Kingdom, performing Umrah, and safely departing.

Authorities said that international Umrah arrivals have crossed 11.8 million since the start of the 1447 AH season. The campaign will remain active until the end of Ramadan to support the growing number of visitors.

The initiative relies on both digital and on-ground communication tools. These tools guide pilgrims toward official awareness platforms and encourage positive behavior at the Two Holy Mosques and other important locations.

The campaign covers more than 18 key touchpoints, including airports, entry ports, transport hubs, accommodation facilities, destinations, enrichment sites, and the Two Holy Mosques. Information will be shared through screens, road signs, text messages, and digital media in more than six languages.

Officials said the campaign supports Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program, which aim to improve services and ease for visitors to the Kingdom.

The campaign reflects Saudi Arabia’s focus on better planning for Ramadan crowds. Clear guidance can reduce confusion for pilgrims. Digital tools may help improve safety and comfort during the busy season.
