Meanwhile, fans catch a glimpse of Karen and Holly Wheeler in a bathtub filled to the brim with water—possibly a new portal to the Upside Down. This has left viewers wondering what Karen Wheeler might be hiding and what her connection to Vecna could be.
Lucas is shown trying to protect Max, who has been in a coma since the end of last season, from a monstrous threat.
