LAHORE (Web Desk): A major twist has emerged in the controversy surrounding Mominah Iqbal after her sister Ramsha Iqbal claimed that the registration of an NCCIA FIR has proven that the allegations made by their family were not baseless.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Ramsha Iqbal congratulated everyone on the Mominah Iqbal nikah and described the registration of the NCCIA FIR as a significant achievement.

She said it is not common for such a case to reach this stage and called it a major success for the family.

Ramsha Iqbal also thanked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for what she described as neutral action.

She maintained that she had never spoken publicly about any matter that could not be supported with evidence and claimed that the NCCIA FIR had strengthened her position.

The actress’s sister further revealed that she plans to submit another application on Monday and made it clear that she has no intention of backing down.

Ramsha Iqbal challenged Saqib Chadhar to prove the allegations he has made against her family and said the legal battle is far from over.

Addressing financial claims linked to the dispute, she said Saqib Chadhar should now provide evidence for his accusations involving money.

According to her, if those claims are proven, the family is willing to return the amount in question.

The controversy took a more serious turn when death threat allegations were raised. Ramsha Iqbal alleged that Saqib Chadhar had threatened that the Mominah Iqbal nikah should not take place and warned of severe consequences if the marriage went ahead.

She further claimed that both she and Mominah Iqbal received a threatening voice note containing intimidation.

According to Ramsha Iqbal, the threatening voice note was sent before the marriage and is among the reasons the family decided to pursue legal action.

The latest claims have intensified public interest in the dispute between Mominah Iqbal and Saqib Chadhar.

With the NCCIA FIR now registered and a fresh application expected next week, the matter appears set to move further through legal channels.
